Green Key Global invites our member hotels to showcase their sustainability efforts by participating in our #GKGEarthMonthChallenge!
Share your initiatives, inspire others, and get recognized for your commitment to a greener future.
How To Participate:
- Create a Short Video (under 60 seconds) highlighting a sustainable initiative at your property that you’re proud of
- Share on social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook) using #GKGEarthMonthChallenge and tagging @greenkeyglobal
- Engage Your Community by encouraging guests and industry peers to like, comment, and share your video!
What We’re Looking For:
- 60 seconds or less videos showcasing your hotel property’s sustainability initiative(s) (Hint: try to use your mobile phone for recording and use it in portrait mode)
- Recommend recording the video personally or through staff member(s) to provide that personal and authentic feel—urge no major productions
- Use voice over or text over-lay to display tangible stats or ROI of the sustainability initiatives at your property
- Bonus points if you mention the Green Key vendor(s) or partner(s) who supported your sustainability journey
- End your video with: “My hotel is a proud [X]-Key Eco-Rating certified property.”

The most innovative and impactful initiatives will be announced on Earth Day, April 22nd, with exciting prizes!
- 1st Place: A written case study, a feature on our blog, and a $200 VISA gift card
- 2nd Place: A written case study and a $100 VISA gift card
