What a week it was in Denver! The Green Key Global team with Anick Levesque (Managing Director), Neal Daftary (VP, Market Development), and Ray Sabharwal (leading our Vendor Partnership Program) had the privilege of representing Green Key Global at AHLA’s The Hospitality Show, one of the most anticipated events in the hospitality calendar and an event that continues to set the bar for collaboration and innovation in our industry.
As proud sponsors and part of AHLA’s Responsible Stay initiative, it was inspiring to see sustainability at the center of so many conversations shaping the future of hospitality.
Our Managing Director, Anick Levesque, joined Ecolab’s Emilio Tenuta and other industry leaders on the “Driving Sustainable Hospitality Forward Through Partnerships” panel. She emphasized that strategic partnerships are at the core of Green Key Global’s mission. The takeaway was clear — partnerships are the engine of progress. By collaborating with purpose-driven partners across the value chain, we can make sustainability profitable and actionable while helping hotels enhance guest experiences, reduce environmental impact, and strengthen community engagement.
Later that day, Neal Daftary moderated “From Goals to Impact: Stories of Sustainable Action”, where hotel GMs shared inspiring stories about how taking that first small step toward certification can evolve into a company-wide sustainability movement. From reducing waste and energy use to unlocking new RFP wins, these conversations reinforced what we know best at Green Key Global, sustainability isn’t just good for the planet, it’s smart business.
The show floor buzzed with energy. We met with some of our incredible vendor partners: Anchor Works, Greenview, Evolution Sustainability Group, Flowater, Winnow, Nomadix, Ecolab, and many others. Our team also connected with many of our brand sustainability leaders from BWH, Choice, Marriott, Sonesta, Wyndham, and Booking.com. It was a powerful reminder that the industry is moving fast toward measurable, credible sustainability, and Green Key Global is leading that charge.
We also hosted a very lively Green Key Global Happy Hour, which brought together hoteliers, brand leaders, and partners for an evening of networking. We connected with vendors, brand executives and leaders from Marriott, Sonesta, Wyndham, and BWH, and hoteliers including our OTA (Online Travel Agency) partners like Booking.com who reinforced the growing importance of certification in business performance and RFP success.
A big thank you to AHLA’s incredible team led by Kevin Carey and Kiersten Pearce for their leadership and collaboration with Green Key Global and to Kara Filer, her team and everyone behind the scenes for creating such an exceptional event. If you’re in the hospitality business, you can’t afford to miss The Hospitality Show 2026 in Miami.
