About One Tree Planted
One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) non-profit on a mission to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Our projects span the globe and are done in partnership with local communities and experts to create an impact on nature, people, and wildlife. Reforestation helps to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide jobs for social impact, and restore biodiversity. Many projects have overlapping objectives, creating a combination of benefits that contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Beyond such projects, One Tree Planted believes that engaging people who want a personal experience is critical to raising awareness through action. That’s why we also organize volunteer events, create educational materials, and provide ways for businesses to give back to nature. By focusing on collaborative sustainability from the ground up, we hope to make a lasting and positive difference for the planet.
