July 8, 2015 – Green Key Global and Clean the World Announce Partnership to Promote Hotel Soap Recycling

OTTAWA, Canada— (July 6, 2015) –Green Key Global and Clean The World Canada, two leaders in corporate social responsibility (CSR), today announced a partnership that will promote soap recycling to hotels in Canada and beyond. The partnership will encourage Green Key Global members to collect and recycle hotel soap and bottled amenities that will help fight the spread of preventable diseases.

November 5, 2014 – New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association Partners with Green Key Global

The New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSHTA) has announced that it will adopt the Green Key Eco-Rating Program as its official sustainable certification program for the state’s lodging industry.   The selection of Green Key Global as its certification partner complements a drive by the association to instill a culture of sustainability amongst its lodging members.

July 31, 2014 – Green Key Global Launches v2.0 of its Green Key Meetings Certification Program

Green Key Global (GKG), in partnership with MPI Foundation Canada, announces the release of version 2.0 of the Green Key Meetings Program, a comprehensive environmental assessment tool for facilities, both lodging and non-lodging, that host meetings of any scale. Developed with the assistance of senior meeting planner professionals, the Program has been updated to ensure incorporation of current meeting practice elements as well as to complement the well-known APEX/ASTM Green Meetings Standards.
